Great ideas, but be careful with the magnetic paint; it can create problems with cell phones at times.

I've read reviews from other sources that the magnetic paint does not hold very well. Usually it will hold only light paper

This a great idea!! A few kitchens I have worked in have stored cookin utensils this way, and it works great.
