Great idea! I'm using the corkboard roll remaining to put around an old candy tin. Covering it with fabric to match the message board will tie the two together as a cute message board & pen/pencil holder gift. (Plus the pen/pencil holder fabric covered corkboard can be used for "general or family-wide" messages.)
